Before attending the workshop, I thought of prayer as a very one-way street. God was quietly watching, and I just hoped he was watching over me even if I didn’t pray.
After the workshop I discovered that God is not quiet al all! He’s always there and eager to share His wisdom with me as long as I’m there willing to listen. I can never see God as silent or hidden anymore, and I am excited to continue to make “a daily phone call” to God and let His infinite love and wisdom guide me through my daily life.
Thanks to these workshops I have opened up a divine and spiritual channel that I had missing in my life for so long.
- Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in the Prayer and Life Workshop.
I am so glad that I said yes to God’s gentle nudge. It was much more than had first thought.
It has made me realize that I want to learn and do more. It has given me the tools to continue my journey with the Lord.
My reason for accepting the invitation was I desire a more intimate relationship with God. My prayer for me is that I continue to read the Bible.
Thank you for this beautiful workshop. God bless all who continue to spread the Good News.
I want to thank Mary for leading this workshop. It is wonderful to see her lively faith. Grateful that she is willing to share it with all of us.
- I am blessed to have again participated in the PLW, my faith has deepened, and I continue to work on a greater love for Jesus and acceptance of His love for me.
This through praying the Psalms and using prayers and methods of praying from the Encounter Book.
Additionally, I am experiencing a change within myself as I practice improving my relations with others, asking: What would Jesus do in my place? The result of all this is a sense of freedom and peace that sometimes surprises me.
Because of this workshop I have come to know myself and my Lord better. I will continue to practice what I have learned.
All should try this workshop and begin the journey to love, peace and acceptance.
While going through the sessions for a second workshop, I found some sessions/methods to be old, familiar, and easy methods while a few (the later ones) seemed to be fresh and new.
My daily prayer time is more routine now, so the second workshop was well worth the time spent.
I feel a closer relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit now. I get feelings of joy more often now, too.
I love a strong desire to help everyone now no matter who they are or what circumstances they are in.
In short, I guess I want to do as Jesus commanded “me”, That is to “love one another as He loves me.”
