Last Saturday, March 23, the National Coordination of Puerto Rico together with all the guides of Puerto Rico participated in a Lent Retreat. It was given by Monsignor Wilfredo Peña, parish priest of the Santa Bernadette Parish in San Juan. It was a very special day where the guides were able to reflect on their mission and commitment as guides of Prayer and Life Workshops, framed in the season of Lent and before beginning Holy Week. In addition, Monsignor Peña recounted his testimony of living an Experience of God Meeting given by Father Ignacio, as well as his meetings and conversations with him over the years during his visits to Puerto Rico.
The retreat began with the Holy Eucharist and continued throughout the day, ending with the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The activity was a pleasant sharing among brothers from all over the Island. We thank the Lord for this unforgettable day full of prayer and brotherhood for all the guides of Puerto Rico.
