Last Sunday, October 27, with great joy, 163 Brother Guides, from the Local Coordinations of Pacific 1 and Pacific 4, of the Mexico North Zonal Coordination, met at Casa Nazaret, Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos, Jalisco to celebrate the 11th Easter of Father Ignacio to honor and thank for the life and work of our beloved founder, as well as to strengthen his dedication as brothers of the PLW family.
There were very emotional moments, between songs and prayers, lived in meditation and with the joy of being part of a great spiritual family.
We share with you the words with which the celebration began, after the Holy Eucharist, directed by Guide Maria Enriqueta Castellanos:
Let us celebrate the life of Father Ignacio, who showed us how to be witnesses of the love of God and love for others, let us remember that his walk was full of experiences and moral authority, he was an authentic witness of the love of God.
Father Ignacio is and will always be present in this place, as well as in the Founding House of Santiago de Chile and is present in each one of us, in our home, in the delivery of the Workshops, on the Monthly Day of the Guide and on the Annual Retreats for Guides.
Father Ignacio is with us, everything is impregnated with his spirituality, with the charisma that he left us and that unites us as a PWL family.
Father Ignacio promised us that he would be on his knees interceding for us and for the Works of PLW.
Father Ignacio’s prayer was shared:
Marana Thá. Come Lord Jesus.
Eternal God and loving Father, I present myself before You as an orphan child, in need of Your protection and affection, I only need You and in reality, I only have You but that is enough for me, because with You I feel complete; I lack nothing. I have traveled continents, crossed the seas, flown through the blue heights, only with the pursuit that your name be glorified and that humans suffer less, throughout this long journey I have felt your breath and you have sheltered me in the refuge of your wings, I feel so such grateful emotion for your loving and always free presence.
I place myself in your hands, whenever you want, however you want, take me. Amen
