Another example. One fine day we look out over a splendid landscape, and when contemplating so much vitality, so much variety of colors, all that splendor evokes the eternal fountain of beauty: the Lord. Leaning on creation to adore can be an effective way to pray for some. But in the garden or in the field, 1000 reflections distract, the senses are entertained and the soul is satisfied with small details of God.
But in pure faith and in naked nature, in the silence and solitude of the heart, the presence of flows with absolute light.
