The PLW was held at St Anne’s Parish Steenberg in Cape Town. The area is not safe, nevertheless the Guide continued with her Workshop at night! It was disrupted by violence and protests in the area, but a group stood firm and persevered until the Desert Day.
It was very beautiful and humbling to hear the experiences of both the Workshop and the Desert day. One of the participants described herself as a tightly closed flower at the beginning of the workshop… Kept tightly closed by worries and hurts, she said like a flower she very slowly opened over the sessions, until the others in the group could see the change.
All for the glory of God.
