At the end of the month of November the Europe Zone Team visited the Local Coordination of France, starting with a long and honest conversation with the Local Team, where they were able to express their concerns, needs, and hopes for that Coordination.
The following day they lived the “Day of the Guide” in the house of Notre Dame of l’Hermitage, near the city of Lyon. Once the Desert was finilized they had a cordial coexistence with all the Guides, in which they shared their experiences in the Workshops, as well as the struggles they faced in this currently materialistic society. The Zone Team encouraged perseverance thus making them realize that they need to continue the expansion in France in the light of the Refoundational Document.
During this reunion the naming of the new Local Coordinator proceeded, once the period of Odette Tomas was completed, in front of this service; once the votes of the Guides were tallied, Eliane Colon was elected as the Local Coordinator.
